We import the cloth from Japan, and we cut, sew, and dye it right in Los Angeles. To offer the best value, we run this on a preorder basis.
We collect orders for about two weeks. During this time frame, we can offer competitive pricing, our full size range, and an expansive collection of shapes. Once the preorder closes, we allocate the fabric and make the garments to order. By cutting down on waste, we can deliver these at a great price.
This time around, we're offering a brand new color tone. "Olive Moss" is a warm olive green that evokes a crisp walk in the wilderness. It's a brilliant match to grey, navy, khaki, and dark brown.Â
You can order this in drawstring pants, chore coats, a casual sportcoat, and two outerwear shapes. We dye these garments in consistent batches, so every jacket and pant will match perfectly for a 2-piece looks.

12oz 100% Cotton Japanese Sashiko Pique
Also known as our classic pure cotton Sashiko cloth is woven in Japan for use in martial arts uniforms. Known as Dogi (cloth of the way), this fabric has a thick pique weave with well-defined "rice gain" structure.
This technique offers three benefits: it allows natural stretch and flexing with movement, it absorbs moisture and stays away from your skin and it gains exceptional tensile strength.. far above a comparable twill weave. Given the large texture of the weave, you can expect a particularly nice patina with wear.Â

Our Laidback Pants can be ordered from waist size 29 to 40. You can choose any custom inseam length. They are pre-shrunk and fully machine washable. The overall fit splits the difference between loose and tailored for an effortless and versatile style.
We offer four shapes of custom jackets, and each one is individually made in our Los Angeles factory. We can do sizes 34 through 38, and you can vary the sleeve and body length as needed.  Each jacket is finished with tortoise resin buttons and interior taped seams or full lining.
