This project pairs Scottish heritage with sharp, modern American tailoring. You can choose between two distinct silhouettes: the Ranger Jacket and the Moto Jacket. These transitional pieces are perfect for the Spring and the Fall.

The Ranger offers a refined yet casual look with a full lining, classic patch pockets, and a detachable suede throat latch for when the weather turns. For something with a bit more edge, the Moto Jacket draws on mid-century 1960s designs with a flattering, slightly boxy crop and a solid brass two-way zipper. Both styles are finished with a full lining and interior pockets.

The soul of these jackets lies in the fabric. For the traditionalist, we’re offering Genuine Harris Tweed—a heavyweight, 18oz Scottish wool that’s famous for being virtually indestructible and only getting better with age.

For a softer and lighter option - our Scottish Flecked Herringbone Tweed is a fantastic alternative. It’s a 14oz mid-weight fabric with a bold pattern and colorful flecks that give it a distinctive look and incredible texture. Whether you’re heading into a morning meeting or out for a weekend away, these jackets are built to be your new favorites for years to come.

Every piece is made in by Rochester Tailored Clothing, a workshop within the oldest tailoring house in the United States. The combination of British-woven fabric and American craftsmanship results in garments that bridge two great sartorial traditions: the rugged elegance of English cloth and the clean, practical tailoring of American design.

Genuine Harris Tweed
Woven in Scotland, Harris Tweed is one of the most iconic fabrics on Earth. These heavyweight 18oz pure woolens are famous for their warmth, durability, and complexity. Their style is enduring and timeless. Garments crafted in Harris Tweed are treasured heirlooms passed down from one generation to the next.

By law, all Harris Tweed must be produced in the Scottish Outer Hebrides and nowhere else. Every inch of wool is dyed and spun in an island mill. Every yard is handwoven at on treadle-powered looms inside individual homes. Weaver’s skills take months to learn and years to master - and every step of the Harris Tweed process is in the hands of skilled islanders.

Flecked Herringbone Tweed
Woven in Scotland, these beautiful mid-weight tweeds are approximately 14oz. Each one has multicolored flecks to accent the dominant colors. A surprisingly soft hand and a bold herringbone weave pattern makes these distinctive and very comfortable.

The Ranger Jacket
The Ranger Jacket is our premier casual outerwear shape. Based upon the Doyle, it has a full lining and interior pockets. Two-way button flap patch pockets sit at the hips and a button flap pocket sits at the breast. The undercollar has a suede lining and a detachable suede throat latch. The rear has a single vent and button waist tabs. It fits true to size.

The Moto Jacket
Based upon mid-century designs, the Moto jacket is a minimal and flattering outerwear piece. The body cut is cropped and a little boxy... in keeping with its 1960's roots. It has a full lining and interior pockets. The front has welt hand pockets and a welt chest pocket. It closes with a solid brass 2-way zipper. The collar has a suede button tab. The cuffs button and the rear waist has adjustment tabs. It's designed with a boxy fit in the chest, so size down one for more of a typical Epaulet shape.
