We have four colors of Japanese Cotton Sashiko headed to the dyehouse: Navy, Olive, Gunmetal, and Natural. We're opening up RTC custom orders for four days only to run alongside this. You can order your favorite Sashiko color in any of our shapes.
And if you preordered a Laidback Pant or Doyle in Sashiko, then this is the only chance to get a perfectly dyed-to-match custom garment from RTC. Everything will be dyed in coherent matching dye lots. 
Japanese Cotton Sashiko
Our classic pure cotton Sashiko cloth is woven in Japan for use in martial arts uniforms. Known as Dogi (cloth of the way), this fabric has a thick pique weave with well-defined "rice gain" structure. It's exceptionally strong, breathable, and comfortable. With over 5,000 ready to wear Sashiko garments sold, this is far and away the most popular fabric that we've ever offered. 

For our custom program, the cloth is dyed in Los Angeles and then sent to RTC in matched, coherent dye lots. When it's received, it's steam pressed and detailed. The final garments are preshrunk, and perfectly matched in color tone when you order a full suit. The fabric will have tiny variations due to the thick pique and dye process, but the overall presentation is very consistent and business appropriate. A custom Sashiko garment is truly distinct from anything else out there!

Each of our custom garments are fully customizable through a range of dimensions.

Each piece can vary in length and overall size. Buttons, liners, and taping are all up to you. Pocket layouts and sleeve finishes are available on sportcoats and suit jackets.
