Harbor Tote Bag 14oz Indigo Sashiko

When I saw this cloth, I knew that I had to have it. We've used Indigo Sashiko for clothing before, but it's a bit too light and soft for a bag. This Japanese made variant is heavier and tougher, and absolutely perfect for a bag!

Weighing in at 14oz it has the perfect weight for an everyday tote and it has exceptional tensile strength. The deep indigo contrasts beautifully with the black straps and purple label. I'm a little biased, but I think it's the best looking tote bag that we've made! The cloth is colorfast and can be machine washed on its own and hang dried.

The Harbor Tote measures 17.5 inches wide 14" deep and approximately 6 inches across (45cm x 36cm x 15cm). Its thick woven cotton straps can be comfortably worn over the shoulder or carried in your hand.

The exterior of the bag has three deep pockets. The interior has five generous pockets and a brass snap to close the top. The bottom is reinforced and taped, allowing the bag to sit flat on the floor.
