Harbor Tote Bag Mil-Spec Jungle Cloth Poplin

Sale price$95.00

The Harbor Tote blends East Coast style with West Coast craftsmanship, capturing the spirit of classic nautical carryalls while being built start-to-finish in Los Angeles. Its clean lines and generous proportions make it the kind of everyday bag that feels at home anywhere.

Jungle cloth was developed in the 1940s for U.S. military field jackets, valued for its durability and comfort in warm, demanding conditions. It’s a densely woven cotton that resists abrasion, blocks wind, and remains breathable with regular use. That same fabric forms the foundation of this tote, bringing a practical, time-tested material into an everyday carry format. This 100% cotton was woven in Japan, and it's a modern-day reproduction of those classic military goods.

Jungle cloth is straightforward and functional. The surface is smooth and matte, with enough structure to hold its shape while still breaking in over time. As it’s used, the fabric softens and develops natural creasing rather than obvious wear. Black webbing straps provide a clean contrast, and the loden chrome-tanned cowhide patch adds a durable, understated detail without drawing attention away from the cloth itself.

Reinforced straps, practical exterior pockets, and a heavy-duty build give it genuine working-bag credibility, yet the design stays refined enough for daily wear. It’s a piece built with purpose, designed to age with character, and crafted to carry a bit of both coasts wherever it goes.

The Harbor Tote measures 17.5 inches wide 14" deep and approximately 6 inches across (45cm x 36cm x 15cm). Its thick woven cotton straps can be comfortably worn over the shoulder or carried in your hand.

The exterior of the bag has three deep pockets and a genuine leather patch. The interior has five generous pockets and a brass snap to close the top. The bottom is reinforced and taped, allowing the bag to sit flat on the floor. This bag is easily machine washable with cold water and hang drying.
