By popular request, we've ported our best-selling Half zip sweater into a Spring-weight, pure cotton model. You won't believe how soft and plush this is!
Crafted in pure, genuine Peruvian Pima cotton, it matches classic mod style to high end luxury materials.
The sweater is fitted at the top and in the sleeves, but slightly relaxed in the waist, giving it an elegant and flattering fit. The neck closes with a solid brass zipper.
The yarn is 10oz knit pima cotton... which is a bit heavier than usual and offers a wonderful drape and true four-season wearability. It has an intricate ribbed pattern.
The fit is excellent. The model (6' 175lb) is comfortably wearing a size Medium. It's fitted and tailored without being too tight.
Whether worn with jeans, shorts, or a sportcoat, it's effortless to style casually or semi-formally. It's machine washable and very durable.
Peruvian Pima Cotton
Pima (Gossypium Barbadense) is the generic name for Extra-Long Staple (ELS) cotton. Given its proximity to the Equatorial line, Peru is known as the finest region in the world for this yarn.
When considering any natural fiber.. the longer and smoother the filament.. the more comfortable and durable the cloth.
The average cotton fiber measures 1/2 to 3/4", but Peruvian Pima is closer to 1.5" This distinction gives it a luxurious hand and lustrous finish that you won't see in other cottons.
Measurements & Fit
All measurements are shown in inches. Chest is measured laid flat from one armpit seam to the other. Sleeve is measured from the shoulder seam to the edge of the cuff. Length is measured from the rear seam under the collar to the bottom of the hem.
