We're offering our iconic Rivet Chino in 10oz American backpacker canvas, sourced from the legendary Mount Vernon Mill — one of the last great textile mills still weaving premium cotton in the United States. 

"Backpacker" Canvas is a rugged four-season weight that's just a touch lighter and softer than its heavier Duck Canvas cousin. At 10oz, it's a bit thicker than the typical chino pant. We sourced some great colors for this round! This is the perfect opportunity to get an excellent standalone piece or make a two-piece look with a matching custom jacket. 

Gravel and Butterscotch are two of our best selling tones. "Deep Navy" is indeed darker and more blue than the usual navy. Java is a handsome dark brown that will age beautifully. And I can't recommend Sanded Stone enough! This cloth has been stone washed for a perfectly broken in hand feel. It's a brilliant neutral tone that goes with everything. 

This fabric offers a durability that stands the test of time while maintaining the comfort and breathability of 100% cotton. 

Backpacker canvas is a tightly woven, plain-weave fabric known for its incredible strength and resilience. The 10oz weight hits the perfect midpoint — substantial enough to handle daily abuse, yet flexible enough to move with you. Over time, it softens and molds to your body, developing fades, creases, and character unique to you.
