The Rivet Jean concept is simple. We created a premium 5-pocket jean based on the sizing and proportions of our best-selling Rivet Chino pant. If you take a 32 Rivet Chino, then you can confidently order a 32 Rivet Jean.
If you enjoy the Rivet Chino, then you're going to love these! It strikes a perfect balance between an athletic fit and a slim fit. Each pair is sewn from start to finish in Los Angeles, and we're using the best denim facility that we could find.
The Rivet Jean features bartacked seams, aged brass button front & button fly, front pocket rivets, and our signature rear pocket stitch detail.
For this launch project, we're offering 6 gorgeous selvedge denims, 2 rugged cotton twills, and one exceptional cotton tweed.
You can opt for a shorter inseam than our stock 36" length. We recommend ordering 0.5" longer than what you want to allow for shrinkage.
Cone Mills 14oz Vintage Blue Denim
This classic American denim was woven in North Carolina approximately 12 years ago. Once we saw its perfect blue tone, we purchased several deadstock rolls. Its indigo shade is slightly lighter and more vibrant and it has a wonderful hand. It's going to fade like a beast! This is a bonafide treasure of American textile history.
Graphite 13oz Nihon Menpu
Woven in Japan, this is a blend of dark grey and natural fibers. It's a comfortable year-round weight and it has a surprisingly soft hand, even when raw. We'll use tonal grey stitching for a minimal vibe. Think early 2K Helmut Lang style.
Kuroki Streaky 12oz Denim
This denim is a bit lighter and softer than the others. It's still wearable year round, but will be more comfortable in the warmer months. Woven in Japan by Kuroki, it has an intricate streaky and slightly irregular indigo dye pattern, which gives it a bit of a retro vibe.
Jet Black 13oz Kaihara Denim
Black denim is an excellent staple fabric for every wardrobe, and this is an exceptional expression of that. Woven by Kaihara in Japan, both the warp and weft yarns are dyed black, giving it a sleek a minimal finish. We'll use black stitching and black leather patch to finish it.
Heavyweight Tiger Twill
Weighing in at a sturdy 16oz and woven in Japan, this is one of the most dense and exceptional fabrics that we've ever offered in the Rivet Chino. It's a tri-color blend of indigo, black, and natural yarns... all mixed together in an intricate "tiger" blend. With a weight that exceeds most jeans, this is a perfect choice for an incredible cold weather pant.
