The Sunset Jean is our take on the traditional "rancher" fit Western jean. It features a moderately high rise, fuller thigh, and a subtle bootcut at the bottom.
This style is simultaneously kind of retro and very current. We wanted that "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" vibe, and I believe that we nailed it. The Sunset Jean offers clean construction, minimal styling without logos, and absolutely gorgeous fabrics for a very competitive price.
It looks boss with a sportcoat and boots. It works great with a white t-shirt and Chuck Taylors. It's a versatile shape and a fresh look for your wardrobe!
This shape is flattering for a range of physiques and we designed it in line with our other shapes. The fit is a bit larger than a Rivet and a bit slimmer than a Wilhelm, meaning the vast majority of our clients can simply order their typical waist size.

The Sunset Jean features bartacked seams, aged brass button front & button fly, front pocket rivets, genuine leather rear patch, and our signature rear pocket stitch detail.
Each piece is manufactured from start to finish in Los Angeles. Every jean is cut by Jorge and sewn by Juan and our team of operators.
For this launch project, we're offering 6 gorgeous fabrics.
You can opt for a shorter inseam than our stock 35" length. We recommend ordering 0.5" longer than what you want to allow for shrinkage.
Itochu 14oz Indigo Denim
The ideal "dark denim." Woven in Japan by Itochu, this has a deep indigo cast, and a year-round 14oz weight. Unlike many other Japanese indigo denims its soft and comfortable on the first wear. It has a great drape and it jibes wonderfully with the vibe of our Sunset jean shape. Expect an excellent fade with wear. .
Cone Mills 14oz Vintage Blue Denim
This classic American denim was woven in North Carolina approximately 12 years ago. Once we saw its perfect blue tone, we purchased several deadstock rolls. Its indigo shade is slightly lighter and more vibrant and it has a wonderful hand. It's going to fade like a beast! This is a bonafide treasure of American textile history.
Kuroki Streaky 12oz Denim
This denim is a bit lighter and softer than the others. It's still wearable year round, but will be more comfortable in the warmer months. Woven in Japan by Kuroki, it has an intricate streaky and slightly irregular indigo dye pattern, which gives it a bit of a retro vibe.
Jet Black 13oz Kaihara Denim
Black denim is an excellent staple fabric for every wardrobe, and this is an exceptional expression of that. Woven by Kaihara in Japan, both the warp and weft yarns are dyed black, giving it a sleek a minimal finish. We'll use black stitching and black leather patch to finish it.
Olive Kaihara 13oz Bull Denim
Woven by Kaihara in Japan, this is a strong medium-weight denim in a perfect solid shade of muted olive. It makes for a great neutral tone that ties back to everything else in your wardrobe. It has a very soft hand as well.
OG Cramerton 10oz Twill
Woven in the USA, this thick pure cotton twill has a crisp hand and a perfect British Khaki tone. This cloth has a tight weave and a heft that seems heavier than its year-round weight, making it ideal for a 5-pocket design. It washes easily and will age beautifully.
Preorders are open for our full size range. Although we will have limited open stock after delivery, preorders will save 20% off the MSRP. Only limited sizes will be offered as stock.
